Another e-bay buy. Missing its lid and vinyl covering but works OK. The valve Copicat has strange 'interactive' controls. For instance when you turn Gain1 up the volume of channel 2 drops, wierd. I think it might be something to do with both channels sharing a cathode bypass cap, but I dunno. I've had problems with the motor getting very hot causing the gain to drop. I've removed the back cover and fitted a PC CPU fan inside, so hopefully this will alleviate the problem. It's going to get a bonny new set of caps soon and a bit of motor servicing to get it properly fettled.
