OPENING HOURS
1 April to 31 October - Tuesday to Sunday - 12.00 to 17.00
1 November to 31 March - Friday to Sunday - 12.00 to 16.00
Last admission half an hour before closing.

Discover a 400 year old house, built by the Charnock family in Elizabethan times. In 1922 Reginald Tatton donated Astley Hall to the people of Chorley and in 1924 it opened as the town's museum
Astley Hall is a rich educational resource for all ages and abilities. An educational pack is available with full details of cross-curricular links, focusing on History (Tudors and Victorians), Art, English, Maths and Geography.
The Art Gallery is the venue for up to 10 different exhibitions every year. Special events include, Craft Fairs, Car Rallies, Historical re-enactments and concerts.
