| Whittaker's
mill rebuilt c1860 fllowing a major fire was a waste cotton spinning mill
for over 50 years. The first floor preserves the full atmosphere of a carding
and mule spinning room. Regular working demonstrations reveal the complexity
of textile processes and give an impression of the working conditions. |
