Bourne Museum

Supply audio playback unit, speakers and PIR sensor, transfer and edit audio from vinyl LP to Compact Flash card.

Bourne museum houses a collection relating to the ERM and BRM racing cars of the 1960s. When a visitor enters the exhibition space, the PIR sensor is triggered and the sound of a racing car travels from one speaker to another giving the impresion of the car passing at high speed.


Banbury Museum

Creation of soundscapes for exhibitions. One for a children's exhibition on electricity one for a photographic exhibition of a former cold war airfield.

Both CDs contained relevant amibient sounds which were continiuously looped on a CD player.


Geffrye Museum, London

Creation of various soundscapes to illustrate activity in rooms from different periods in history from the 1500s to 1990s.

 

Bewdley Museum

Transfer of the museum's entire oral history archive from cassette and reel to reel tapes into digital formats.

Comprising 88 tapes recorded between 1977 and 1998, some of which were beginning to deteriorate, the archive was digitised and the sound cleaned up. The files were transferred to archive quality audio CDs and DVD-ROM in order to preserve and 'future proof' the archive.
